It’s an honor to step into the leadership of AAF Silicon Valley at such a pivotal moment—one defined by renewal, momentum, and opportunity.
As a Professor of Advertising at San José State University and a brand strategy consultant, I’ve spent my career at the intersection of creativity, education, and industry. Throughout that journey, one truth has remained constant: strong creative communities don’t just support great work—they elevate it. They create space for ideas to grow, for voices to be heard, and for meaningful connections that move both people and industries forward.
That belief is at the heart of what we are building here.
As a new board, our vision is to reenergize this chapter and reimagine what it can be for Silicon Valley’s creative community. We are committed to opening our doors wider than ever—welcoming students, emerging talent, freelancers, small agencies, and established professionals alike. AAF Silicon Valley should be more than a membership organization; it should be a hub for inspiration, visibility, and belonging.
A place where creatives connect.
A place where ideas are championed.
A place where careers take shape.
This is a new chapter in every sense of the word—and we’re not just rebuilding, we’re building forward.
We invite you to be part of it by becoming a member today, or reaching out to us if you’d like to volunteer to be a part of our growing board or committees.
With appreciation,
Belén Moreno
President, AAF Silicon Valley
